Unpredictable Lake Simcoe
During the taking of this shot, Don, my brother-in-law told me how unpredictable this lake can be. His story began in his canoe, on the beautiful calm waters of the lake and within a very short time it turned into a tale of his canoe on the verge of capsizing on very high waves with winds whipping in every direction. Needless to say, in the short time it took him to enjoy the ride out, the ride home took hours due to the ever worsening conditions. Althought the lake is simply a spectacular site, boaters beware!
